In the heart of Downtown Franklin, Indiana, Church on Jefferson began its story in the late 1800s as a house of worship that served generations of local families, a gathering place for weddings, baptisms, and celebrations for more than a century.
Recognizing the beauty and significance of this historic landmark, local entrepreneur and real estate investor Derrick Christy and his family carefully restored and reimagined the property, preserving its timeless character while enhancing it with modern amenities and elegant event spaces.
Today, Church on Jefferson combines soaring historic architecture, stunning stained-glass windows, chandeliers with over 4,000 crystals, and original craftsmanship with modern conveniences.
As a family-owned venue, we take pride in helping our guests create memories that last a lifetime. From weddings and receptions to corporate gatherings, galas, fundraisers, and private celebrations, every event becomes part of the building’s continuing story.
